First a story -
When we were at Stitches West in 2005, we were showing our Thickspun yarns - Solids, Stone Soup and Jewels. The last two are also Thickspun weight but spun in chunks of colors. People were especially loving the Jewels but weren't sure how to use them in a piece. We had to do something to show how they could be knit up. And right then too! So that very night both Linda and Darlene each knit up a scarf and had them on the floor the very next day.
This Jewels Scarf was Darlene's version. Simple to knit in garter stitch with the textured Jewels Thickspun threaded thru as side accents. Just wonderfully quick to knit up and an unusual fun piece to wear.
